With school out of session this guys mom was getting after him for sitting around all day. So she did what every mother would do and gave him a list of chores. The first chore was to power wash the patio. During the whole day he only finished one job so his mother was wondering why. She walked outside and this is what she found. Her son documented the whole process from start to finish and I have to say this is pretty cool.
Who knew you could make art with a dirty patio and a pressure washer?
This is obviously The Joker which is surprisingly detailed.
Looks pretty awesome from an upside down angle.
So he started by outlining his designs with chalk. This one is from the insanely popular Pokemon.
He then outlines the design with the pressure washer for a rough basic starting point.
After the rough sketch is there the fine tuning and tiny details are added. This has to require quite a steady hand to control that pressure washer.
Here is Bender from Futurama. Starts with the chalk design
Then the rough outline.
Followed by the fine details and finish work.
They’re pretty good sized and he’s obviously very proud.
This one looks like it’s going to be a Storm Trooper!
Awesome! I love the negative ‘space’. (lame joke)
This one below is called “Tree Spirits and Shy Guy”
He said it was the hardest one because it was smaller and had very little room for error.
The chalk drawing again (above) and the “line out” (below)
Yes this scribble actually turned into something awesome.
This one took about 1 and a half hours from start to finish.
Now time for a big one!
This is Majora’s Mask.
It almost looks like a giant mosaic.
This one took about 5 hours to complete.
This is Frank The Bunny
All in all his parents driveway and patio look pretty cool to me now.
All thanks to his parents power washer.
Sadly he had to wash it off after it was all documented but he is sure proud of what he was able to create from a dirty patio and driveway. I wonder if this is going to be a new trend with neighborhoods across the world. Lets hope so because I would love to see some very creative designs.
