Going into a graveyard is not a pleasant experience at almost any point in time. The most obvious and likely reasons for going into a cemetery are for a funeral or to visit a dead loved one. Neither of those experiences are ever fun. Hard to imagine that trip getting any worse right? Well it won’t be after you check out this harrowing video from Santa Maria Magdalena cemetery located in Puerto Rico. Someone was taking a walk through the cemetery on a beautiful, sunny afternoon. They decided to take a back exit that led straight to the beach, and what they found is extremely disturbing.
The cemetery the man is at is called Santa Maria Madalena Cemetery, located next to Castillo San Cristóbal which is an old Spanish fort on the island. It looks like an incredibly beautiful place, all the colors just seem to pop out at you.
After panning around the cemetery with his phone, the recorder decided to step out a back exit of the cemetery. The exit actually leads right to the beach with gorgeously hued blue water. This really does look like paradise right?
After stepping through the exit, the camera man swings to his left, and sees something that I couldn’t quite believe.
Yes, you are seeing that correctly. Those are caskets dug up from the ground and tossed into a dumpster!
Holy crap! That is a human bone! A commenter on YouTube said he believes it is a left scapula bone.
He looked around some more and also found this bone. I won’t even venture a guess as to what this bone is.

So apparently tossing caskets into dumpsters with corpses still in them is a thing in Puerto Rico. This is such a violation of everything a cemetery is supposed to be for. it could be grave robbers, or it might even be cemetery workers trying to make room for new caskets. Whatever the reason though, the treatment of someone’s remains like this is intolerable. Hopefully the culprits responsible for this atrocity will be caught and punished to the fullest extent of the law.
