If You See This On Your Windshield, Don’t Touch It Because It Could Be Deadly

The holidays are supposed to be a time of joy and good tidings. People are supposed to exchange gifts, spend time with family and eat lots of good together. It is a time for making memories and reliving old ones with family and friends alike. Some people though seem intent on taking advantage of it and using it to further their own agenda. There have been many holiday scams that have come and gone through the years. This new one is a doozy though. Check this out and gain the knowledge to protect you and your family during this holiday season. There is nothing more important than that.

If You See This On Your Windshield, Don't Touch It Because It Could Be Deadly

The new holiday scam going around is one that I’ve never heard of before. It usually takes place in a crowded parking lot of a popular store.

Someone will slip a fake $100 bill underneath a car’s windshield wiper.

Whoever is behind the scam will then wait for the owner of the car to come out. The object of the scam is you are supposed to get into your car, start it and then see the dollar bill. Most people’s initial reaction will be to get out of the car right away and grab the money. You don’t want to do that though.

Once the person gets out of the car to grab the money, the people running the scam will bolt towards the car. They jump inside and take off with your vehicle and everything in it, including children. For a parent this would have to be the scariest thing imaginable.

Warnings about this scam are being spread all over Facebook after multiple people had their vehicles stolen using this scam. Be careful about leaving your keys in your vehicle.

This is a very simple scam, but one that I know I might personally have fallen for. I can’t imagine the panic that would set in if you were a parent with a child in the car and this happened to you. Use this information to protect yourself and your family from some of the low life’s out there who would use this holiday season to take advantage of others.
