This Secret Door Bookshelf Opens Up To An Impressive Liquor Closet

If you are like me, you can never have enough storage in your house. It seems like once you finally get settled, you are always lacking areas to provide storage. No matter how many coat closets, linen closets, or even shelves you might have, storage is a huge aspect in a house. The more the merrier is the way I see it. That is why when I saw what this incredible handyman did, it made me extremely jealous. He took something so simple and common and made it absolutely amazing.

So, it looks like a normal bookshelf right? Nothing out of the ordinary, a great place for storage.

But wait, there is more. Open this bad boy up and you have an entirely hidden, fully stocked Scotch bar.

When you open it, there is a magnetic switch that will power on the LED back lighting too. No wasting power here.

I am impressed, not only by this amazing shelf, but by his Scotch collection too.

He also built a nifty little shelf here too, a great place to pour your drink or sample one of the many delicious beverages.

Besides the collection of course, the most expensive part of this project was the hinge. See it there in the corner? It is rated to hold 750 pounds and cost $200.

Oh, and not to mention the shelf is also on wheels, which makes opening it a whole lot easier.

H/T

This guy is amazing. I love the fact that his entire collection is 100% hidden, good if you have kids running around too. Plus he took an unused space in his home and put it to incredible use.
