One of the best parts of taking a vacation to somewhere desolate and pristine would be the view after waking up first thing in the morning. There’s something special about seeing something new and inspiring rather than the same view you see from home each and every day. Imagine waking up to the smell of the fresh brisk mountain air. Imagine being roughly 10 thousand feet above sea level surrounded by giants in the form of enormous mountain peaks. This is exactly what Russian photographer Oleg Grigoryev experienced while he was shooting his series, “Morning Views From The Tent.” He traveled to the Fann Mountains of Tajikistan where he hiked to campsites soaring thousands of feet into the huge mountain range. He took photos of his views in the morning after waking up in his tent and they are truly breathtaking. This mountain photography is really something to behold.
Big Allo Lake. 10,335 feet.
Muddy Lake. 11,811 feet.
Near Miralli Peak.
Chimtarga. 15,420 feet.
While it’s not quite the deadliest hike in the world, those are some very impressive altitudes! I can only imagine what it would be like to witness those views first thing in the morning. I can guess that my day would be a lot better, that’s for sure. Oleg has an adventurous spirit and he captures it through his beautiful scenic photography. These photos are inspiring to say the least and I think there will be some more hiking in my life very soon.
