Swimming pools are a great way to get exercise, but they’re also a great place to relax. One of the downsides of being in a swimming pool is when you have to get in and out just to get a new beverage. Why can’t your drinks be right next to you? Well lucky for you, we have some step by step instructions on how to make your very own DIY pool noodle beverage boat. It has a lid, it’s waterproof, and it floats. Supplies that you’ll need:

– A Tupperware container with a lid

– A pool noodle

– String

– Don’t forget the ice and drinks

First you start off with a Tupperware with a lid. You can find these at your local dollar store or in the container section of any big box store for under $5.

Next you are going to take your pool noodle. You are going to cut it into four pieces. Two will be the same length as the side of your Tupperware container, then the other two will be slightly shorter to cover the other sides.

You can measure each side of the box for exact measurements, or you could just lay the pool noodle next to the box and cut from there.

Get some string and tie all of the pool noodles together. You’ll want to have a few feet of extra string sticking out of one end of the noodles, so don’t cut off any extra string just yet.

Next up, slide the pool noodles from the bottom up to the top of the box so the top lip of the box is resting on the noodles.

So that’s what the string was for! With the extra string, you can either tie it to something on the edge of the pool so it stays in one place or you can let it dangle, allowing you to pull the beverage boat to you whenever needed.

Next up, fill the beverage boat with lots of ice and an assortment of beverages.
